UP / Unique Products create fun and funky lighting and housewares from “re-fused “ mardi gras beads and other objets d’art from the streets of New Orleans. Thrift store finds are “trash-formed” a cast-off coffee can or vintage purse into a clock or kitchen ware and baby bottles are fashioned in to chandeliers.
Our most popular items include the “Mardi Lights” and NOLA-themed items such as the “watermeter” or “Cemetery “ clocks. Post-Katrina items include the MRE purse and blue tarp messenger bag which have been featured on CNN and The New York Times, and are part of a Smithsonian exhibit.
