Location: Laurentine Ernst Parkway Partners Community Garden/ Holy Cross Neighborhood, Corner Chartres and Forstall Streets
Taught by local sustainable growing guru Anne Baker, this session will focus on how to keep tools and small engines for the garden and farm in good working order: the basics of keeping hand tools clean, sharp and stored properly as well as small engine maintenance for best performance.
The full season of trainings also includes “Disease and Pest Control Without Chemicals” on May 17, and “Get Growing: Sustainable Growing for the Market Gardener” on June 7.
Farm Yard Trainings April-May are priced at $3.00; June full-day workshop is $10.
