Apply NOW for the Getting Down to Business IDA Program,
an initiative to help small businesses in the New Orleans area
thrive and increase productivity.
Training Components:
Approximately 14 courses will instruct the
participants on specific business concepts,
including writing business plans, marketing and
advertising, accounting best practices,
industry lending practices and other areas.
To provide financial encouragement, each
participant will be required to open an
Individual Development Account (IDA) savings
account with Capital One Bank, to be
matched upon the business owner’s successful
completion of the program.
Participants will be paired with knowledgeable
professionals and volunteers throughout
the program.

Thirty (30) lucky finalists will have the opportunity to interview with all
the partners for the only ten (10) slots available for the 2012 class.
Applications will be accepted until Tuesday, January 31st at
5:00pm. Interviews will take place in early February and
classes will begin in Tuesday, March 6, 2012
