New Orleans Chamber of Commerce to host Small Business Committee Seminar and Chamber After 5 events in December 2011

Small Business Committee Seminar on Perfecting Your Elevator Pitch and Chamber After 5 evening networking event at The Building Block

New Orleans, LA, November 22, 2011 — New Orleans Chamber of Commerce Small Business Committee is hosting a seminar with guest speaker Tim Williamson, CEO of the Idea Village located at 1515 Poydras Street, 5th Floor Conference Room on December 1, 2011 from 11:30am-1:00pm where business professionals can learn how to perfect their elevator pitch.

The benefit of perfecting your 30-60 second elevator pitch is to quickly learn how to comfortably convey your business value to potential clients that may need your services in the future. Admission is $10 for chamber members and $20 for future members. A box lunch will be provided to all seminar attendees.
During the second week of December New Orleans Chamber member, The Building Block will host the monthly evening networking event, Chamber After 5, located at 2732 St. Claude Avenue, 3rd Floor on December 8, 2011 from 5:30pm-7:30pm. Chamber members will learn about The Building Block services while simultaneously developing business relationships in a social setting.
A featured door prize includes dinner for two at The Windsor Court Hotel-The Grill Room, a $200 value. Admission is free to all Chamber members and $10 for future members. Online registration is available at http://neworleanschamber.org/events/ for all New Orleans Chamber of Commerce events.
