The Rising Tide Conference

The Rising Tide Conference is an annual gathering for all who wish to learn more and do more to assist New Orleans’ recovery. It’s for everyone who loves New Orleans and is working to bring a better future to all its residents.

Leveraging the power of bloggers and new media, the conference is a launch pad for organization and action. Our day-long program of speakers and presentations is tailored to inform, entertain, enrage and inspire.

We come together to dispel myths, promote facts, highlight progress and regress, discuss recovery ideas, and promote sound policies at all levels. We aim to be a “real life” demonstration of internet activism as we continue to recover from a massive failure of government on all levels.

Rising Tide is an annual new media conference centered on the recovery and future of New Orleans and the Gulf Coast. As with our past conferences, we expect several hundred people to attend this year. The audience we attract is an engaged, civic-minded, educated and social media sawy crowd from all over the Gulf South. These are the types of people who can be evangelists for your brand in print and online. This is not only a fantastic venue to sell your products directly but also a great marketing opportunity. A limited number of spaces are available for you to sell products, connect, and share your organization.

We are offering an early bird discount for those who submit application and payment before July 31 st. Vendor spaces start at $75 and include one full registration to the conference as well as breakfast and lunch. Additional registrations are available at a discounted rate.
