UNO Jazz Studies student Sasha Masakowski, a vocalist, will hold a CD release party to celebrate her new recording “Musical Playground” on Sunday, May 25 at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. at Snug Harbor Jazz Bistro Sunday, 626 Frenchman Street . Sets will begin at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m.
Accompanying Sasha will be an all UNO ensemble composed of current and former Jazz Studies students, including James Westfall, Rex Gregory, Nathan Lambertson, Alberto Medina and Paul Thibodeaux. There will also be special guest appearances by Martin and Steve Masakowski, Coca-Cola Chair in Jazz Studies.
