Getaway in the Vieux Carre

French Quarter Business Association (FQBA) welcomes back its summer promotion, “Getaway In The Vieux Carre” for the second year. This promotion is intended to inspire locals to enjoy all the French Quarter has to offer: restaurants; attractions; architecture; culture; nightlife; history; etc. Six lucky winners win a complete Getaway In The Vieux Carre which includes a 2 night hotel stay, restaurant gift certificates, and attractions, all compliments of the FQBA and its participating members.

FQBA and The French Market have partnered to host a free outdoor kickoff party and concert to celebrate the return of the Getaway In The Vieux Carre summer promotion. The party and concert will be held on Thursday, May 20, 2010, from 5-8pm at the French Market’s Governor Nicholl’s Stage. Music by Jenn Howard & Crazy McGee (5- 6 pm) and Juice (6-8 pm).

Three “Getaway In The Vieux Carre” packages will be given away that night and then once a month in the subsequent summer months of June, July, and August. To register and for a list of participants visit www.fqba.org
