Mayor Landrieu to Host Community Meeting for Oil Spill-Affected Businesses and Workers

Mayor Landrieu is hosting a community meeting focused on businesses and workers who have been or may be impacted by the oil spill. The meeting will provide information, resources and tips for protecting your assets and provide an opportunity for the businesses and workers affected by the spill to discuss their concerns and needs in a constructive format.

Joining Mayor Landrieu on the panel will be:

· Carmen Sunda, Director, Louisiana Small Business Development Center, Greater New Orleans Region
· Robin Barnes, Seedco Financial
· Johnny Riley, Deputy Director, Office of Workforce Development, Louisiana Workforce Commission
· Ewell Smith, Louisiana Seafood Promotion Board
