Development of Winn-Dixie-anchored Mid-City Market set to begin

Stirling Properties has acquired the land and completed the financing for the 107,000-square foot Winn-Dixie-anchored Mid-City Market on North Carrollton Avenue in New Orleans. Demolition of the former Bohn Ford dealership building that currently stands on the site is expected to begin immediately.

Stirling Properties has acquired the land and completed the financing for the 107,000-square foot Winn-Dixie-anchored Mid-City Market on North Carrollton Avenue in New Orleans. Demolition of the former Bohn Ford dealership building that currently stands on the site is expected to begin immediately.

The complex is expected to open in early 2013. In addition to Winn-Dixie, tenants in the complex include Office Depot, Pinkberry Frozen Yogurt, and Five Guys Burgers and Fries.

Donahue Favret Contractors Inc. is the contractor for the project. VergesRome Architects is handling the design.
