Stay Local! defines a local business as one that is owned in majority by New Orleans area resident(s), and is responsible for its own decision making regarding marketing, operations, and legal proceedings; businesses registered as “non-Louisiana” with the Louisiana Secretary of State do not qualify for listing. By joining Stay Local! you are affirming that your business conforms to Stay Local!‘s definition of a locally owned and operated business.
Although we support independent businesses throughout Louisiana, Stay Local! is currently limited to business located in the following 5 parishes: Orleans, Jefferson, St. Tammany, St. Bernard, and Plaquemines.
As a business owner, using QRSYNQ is beneficial not only because it organizes information into a profile, but also because it allows the business owner to track who is scanning their code through metrics tracking.
