Small Business Saturday

  • New Orleans, Louisiana (map)

Small Business Saturday is a day dedicated to supporting small businesses and communities across the country and is part of the larger Shop Small Movement. It is celebrated nationally each year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving in the U.S. Since it started in 2010, consumers have reported spending an estimated $200 billion at small businesses on the day. According to the American Express 2022 Small Business Economic Impact Study, with every $1 spent at a small business in the US, $0.68 cents stays local, in the community.

For consumers, shopping or dining out on Small Business Saturday is helping New Orleans’ independent business owners thrive. When you choose local on Saturday, November 29, expect to find special events, deals, and other appreciations of your choice to shops mall.

StayLocal’s Shop Local Bingo! is going on now through Small Business Saturday and beyond. Head to our map of participating businesses here.
