Small Business Saturday encourages shoppers to shop small and local by helping promote festive places and local entrepreneurs that make New Orleans a special place to by gifts and celebrate the season. Small Business Saturday is the Saturday immediately following Thanksgiving nationwide.

While megaretailers are advertising sales, we’re emphasizing the real payoff: that dollars spent at a local independent retailer are recirculated as funds within our shared New Orleans economy, reinvested in local banks, spent again by locals on at local places and on locally made things.
